REJOICE WHEN YOU DIE - New Orleans Jazz Funerals An EXHIBIT of Black and white photographs of New Orleans Jazz Funerals between 1968 and 1970. These photographs are from several funerals for jazz musicians and members of their social clubs. They were a part of the life of New Orleans, with all their sadness and dignity, their pride and humility, their stillness and motion, their silence, and their rejoicing. A book of the same name was published by Louisiana State University Press in 1998. This EXHIBIT and a new book are in production and will not be ready for several months.
